In its new organic sow operation, DuBreton chose to feed their lactating sows with the Gestal Solo. For them, feeding sows during lactation needs attention and accuracy. It was even more important in this case because the age at weaning is 28 days instead of 21 days in most conventional operations.
Farm managers have seen improvement in both sow and piglet welfare.
